Why does Judy Blume start with a prologue from summer of 1977 and end the book with an epilogue in the summer of 1996?
Through out the book she has a page for each person in the story that explains someone thinking about what that character is like, why is that? Does Judy Blume like to write in the form of a letter?
Is the first summer supposed to represent the beginning of Vixs life?
This is not like many of Judy Blumes books, why did she pick the theme of someone who basically comes her own?
